Chinese is the name often used to describe the group of Chinese-Tibetan languages. About 1.3 billion users speak it (speak them, in fact), which makes it the most widely used language in the world. The fact that so many people speak different dialects of Chinese is connected with the size of the area inhabited by the native speakers of the language. These include residents of China, Taiwan, Singapore, and Malaysia. Its influence, however, has a much further reach: due to the dynamic development of the modern economy, China is an attractive market for many European companies.
The growing popularity of translations from Polish into Chinese is strongly linked to the position of this language in the business world. It is not surprising that imports from China play a considerable role in the Polish economy. However, we still underestimate the potential of export, although the situation is slowly improving: on the one hand, it can ensure the right infrastructure, and on the other hand, a well-designed promotion strategy is important. Businesspeople who operate on international markets know that it is high-quality translation into Chinese or into the language of any country with which we trade that offers the opportunity to successfully conduct an advertising campaign or negotiations with business partners. Precisely for this reason, in the last dozen or so years, the number of schools teaching Chinese, students looking for such lessons, and Chinese translators has been steadily increasing worldwide. It is the second language of global business, after English.
Companies planning to launch products on the Chinese market should decide which customers they would like to reach. The official language of the People’s Republic of China is the standard Mandarin language, which was imposed as the standard dialect in the 1950s to support the unification of the state. It is the language taught in schools, universities, and Confucius Institutes which promote the culture of China. Of course, there are also many regional dialects, and the number of speakers reaches millions or even tens of millions of people. Mandarin is closer to the northern dialects; whereas the most important languages in the south are Cantonese (spoken by 80 million people, including Hong Kong residents), Wu (a similar number of users, including the Shanghai area), and Min (50 million, including Taiwanese people).
Legal and technical texts predominate among Chinese translations. In international cooperation, it is indispensable to use translations of documents (also sworn translations), such as all types of contracts, regulations, commercial documentation, certificates, technical specifications or product data sheets, and manuals for imported equipment. We also provide medical translations for hospitals and other institutions which conduct research and deploy new technologies in medicine, carried out by people with the relevant experience and specialised education.
In business, in addition to reliable execution of the service, time is often equally important. That is why, if necessary, you can also count on express translation, which will allow your text to be delivered in the shortest possible time. For our standard translation service, we translate 5 pages per day. In case of express translation service, it amounts up to several dozen pages within the same amount of time.
Additionally, we offer not only translations from Polish into Chinese but also vice versa. Translations from Chinese to English are requested just as frequently, and if you need a service in a different, atypical language pair, please contact Customer Service to get the offer best suited to your needs.
