It is estimated that between 40 and 50 million people – Polish residents and the Polish diaspora spread around the world – speak Polish. After the 1990s, which brought about political transformation and liberalisation of the economy, migration and international contact stemming from Poland’s accession to the European Union in 2004 experienced a real boom. Fifteen or so years after this event, not only can we observe that foreign languages are growing in popularity among Poles, but the number of foreigners learning Polish is also steadily growing. Although this West Slavic language is considered relatively difficult, especially because of the complex inflection and the large number of consonants, the number of people who are learning it for personal or business reasons is rising from year to year.

The most common projects for our business clients are primarily translations of contracts, regulations, manuals, product documentation, and financial reports. However, not only technical and legal translations are necessary when doing business on international markets – marketing texts (e.g. websites) are also very popular. They are carried out by native speakers of the target language, who ensure that the text sounds fully natural to the target recipient. Medical documentation, hospital discharge summaries, and documents related to clinical trials are translated only by people with relevant education and experience in such specialised fields.
